Paul2660 Posted May 16, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) is there a way to turn off all the data displayed on the LCD or EVF so you only see a clean image with the AF focus point? With the SL2, you can hit the function button and move through the various options, on the Q2, this does not do the same thing. I don't mind at times have all the information on the screen, but there are other times, especially in playback of images I just want to see the image. I realize that when you zoom in the image display just reverts to the image and all the photo info data go away. Just would like to see the image in normal view, with just the AF point for capture and just the image for playback. Thanks Paul
Advertisement Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Hi Paul2660, Take a look here Information display on screen, both in capture and playback mode.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Stephen_C Posted May 16, 2021 Share #2 Posted May 16, 2021 The information display on the Q2 (both EVF and on the LCD screen) should cycle through four states when you press the centre button on the back of the camera (in the middle of the "joystick" controls). One of those states is with no information at all in the display. Stephen 1
