Sorry, my mistake on the earler post on Haoge hoods. That will not fit the Summilux 35 FLE. However, I do believe that Thorsten Overgaard sells one on his site. https://www.overgaard.dk/Thorsten-von-Overgaard-Gallery-Store-Hardware-for-Photography-Leica-35mm-Summilux-f14-FLE-Ventilated-Lens-Shade.html

Thanks, have ordered one in the past. Terrible service and not going to support their business again. Took 3 months to arrive...

Have ordered from the French link above, so fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

If the seller is willing to ship it to you, can get the LH-9B for a very good price right here

I was selling one as well for the same low price, but after I got a 35/1.4 FLE, I just decided it is better to bang this one than the Leica hood.

That was the one I returned...

what about this one. It is the 35/50 mm Summarit hood and fits well on the FLE.

I did this same conversion myself and I absolutely love it. If its an overall size reduction in the FLE that you are after, you can't beat this.

In length there is hardly more than one millimeter (or less?) difference i would say. I'l try to measure it for those interested. but i have only an old ruler on hand...

Not so much the length but unlike the circular hoods and the original hood, this one is tapered at the end so it becomes slimmer than the diameter of the lens barrel

I have a couple China made hoods like that too but they make little shade and they may ruin the filter thread of my lenses in case of drop or bump so i avoid them if i can. The advantage of modern Leica hoods is the hood thread is exterior (external?) from this stand point.

Good point, but €5 I’d give it a try at least.

I was concerned about that also so I looked at the vignetting wide open and closed down to make sure there is no obstruction
