Nice shot Graham. I’m the same, the 35mm pre asph has been glued to my camera but I’m feeling the love for 50 again since having this lens back. I’m enjoying being able to control what’s in the frame a little easier.

Thanks Costa - yes looking forward to using it again , never disappoints !   And thanks for posting the great shots since yours was returned

Cheers,  might have to buy a 2nd film camera and carry them both around. I always thought it was overkill when I saw others do this but I’m beginning to see the light!

Hi all

I've noticed that the minimum focus goes a fair bit closer than 0.7 on my copy, for the life of me I cannot remember if this was the case prior to the recent CLA. The rangefinder still focuses at min focus thankfully so all is well. Does anyone else have a copy like this?

Mine black one has the "." of 0.7 at 16 mark.

I checked, the Ti coated model has exactly same stop at dof mark "16".

Maybe a little bit closer than yours, if my parallax reading is correct.

Nothing to worry about though.

Sorry this thread IS images from this nice lens.

Mine is the same too. I measured now for the first time, and it seems it goes to about 63 cm. So we've got 7 cm extra MFD "for free". 😃
