The bottom stripe on the camera being almost titanium and a good match for the M lens!  It isn’t always about spec! Why only smallish? I am eyeing the 135mm APO f3.4 M Lens for my CL Paul smith.. I think it would look really cool.. someone here may already have that setup..

Here's a couple of just-messing-around images I shot from my deck this afternoon with the CL using the Leica M to L adapter. Taking the time to manually focus by assist with magnification, these were captured wide open at f3.4.. I should take my CL downtown with the 18mm SEM, 24mm f3.8 Elmar, 35/1.4 FLE, 75mm f2 and 135mm f3.4 APO's and play with it all some more. Gregm61 Posted February 28, 2021 Share #25  Posted February 28, 2021 (edited) It's a smooth, easy user on the CL. Tiny compared to the 55-135 TL. The detail in the first image of the communication tower is impressive at full zoom-in. Click this link and zoom to 100%.. Welcome, dear visitor! Gregm61 Posted March 1, 2021 Share #28  Posted March 1, 2021 (edited) I haven’t tried an M lens yet on the CL that doesn’t show fringing to some extent one would have to fix in camera raw if it was a lens you really wanted to use a lot on that body. LeicaS2 Posted May 3, 2021 Share #30  Posted May 3, 2021 I do consider the CL with 18 pocketable if  it’s a jacket pocket. And quite  light. I now pair it with the Sigma 56mm and the 11-23 and the 55-135 are for purposes not walking around.
