Probably the reason for silence is that most people simply can’t get one...lol I’m still waiting but very much looking forward to receiving it. No interest in the APO whatsoever

I totally agree. There’s one person ahead of me on the list I’m on. I too have zero interest in the 35 APO; the 35 Cron IV is the only 35 I’ll ever need... and I’ve owned almost all of them.

I’ve got one on order. Most expensive single lens purchase in my life...but I’m not getting any younger. I hope it doesn’t take a year (I’m not that old that a year would matter but...)

The Leica Store Miami guys just did a great webcast on Noctiluxes. Very interesting and richly informative.

I agree it was wonderful that these guys took so much time to share all Noctilux versions plus a quick comparison against the 50 1.4 ASPH Lux and 50 APO plus they built that neat profile with each lens at every f stop and then the actual shots of the naked and sharpness photos taken in the store on the camera bag, but I was sorry they did not take more time to show comparisons of the new 1.2 at each f stop against the other Noctilux lenses as well as the 50 1.4 Summilux APSH and 50 APO, as it appeared to me the new 1.2 performance was really improving faster after F2 and up when compared to every other version of the Noctilux and possibly even the .95. On deliveries Josh said well over a year wait yet I am 10th in line at the NW Leica store, but then again none of us know how many copies Leica even planned for the first year. Did Leica not expect this much demand or is it simply their usual slow ramp up and still sending too many SL2 bodies and lenses into the market, as it really would be a shame if it was a year wait for what is a regular production lens that many of us want to use an an everyday lens.

May I ask which stores list you are on, thank you.
