sorry to open a thread just for this

Do you know how to erase the white color of the LEICA engraving on the SL2 to make it black like on the SL2-s ?

 

 

I just found that old thread , acetone seems to be the solution

I would never use acetone anywhere near a camera or lens.

You can rather use this paint Paint, Flat Black Touch Up Pen which is removable if & when you want to sell the camera.... I used it on my S1R & removed it when I sold the camera.

Here's a pic of my S1R after I used the Flat Black Paint Pen.  I removed the paint with a toothpick, it wasn't that difficult to take off.
