We've had a two week run of over 100 [106 one day] or near 100 degrees and no real rain in 2 1/2 months. School started here 2 weeks ago and some school classrooms have had no working AC. School buses also have no AC, so this may be the year that brings local school board folks to their senses and start school after the US Labor Day holiday as in "olden days".
