Advertisement Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Hi Radost, Take a look here leica second hand warranty. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jdlaing Posted February 7, 2021 Share #2 Â Posted February 7, 2021 Generally Leica cameras have a warranty from the date of first sale no matter how many owners. IE: the camera carries the warranty not the owner.
ravinj Posted February 8, 2021 Share #3 Â Posted February 8, 2021 My experience is same - Leica has never asked me for a receipt or where I purchased the camera from when I needed service under warranty for my second hand cameras that still were within the original two year warranty. chris_tribble Posted February 8, 2021 Share #10 Â Posted February 8, 2021 Best thing in my experience is to register the lens / camera with Leica and then check with customer support in Wetzlar what the warranty status of the item is. Â They have a record of when the lens was first sold and are able to tell you how much warranty time is left.
