JayBird Posted January 31, 2021 Share #1 Â Posted January 31, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been unable to get the camera to save the settings. I enter the information but the camera will not save it. Is there a trick to saving the settings?
Advertisement Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Hi JayBird, Take a look here CL - Saving copyright data. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Le Chef Posted January 31, 2021 Share #2 Â Posted January 31, 2021 I would read the manual which explains how to create profiles, which are your personal settings for different shooting needs - landscape vs street, or wide angle vs telephoto - and then save each profile for use whenever you want it. There have been endless threads on this, but the manual is the best place to start.

I would also expect that this setting would be constant across all user profiles. I also saw one other post about the subject. It said the CL could not save this data. As there had been several firmware upgrades since the original thread, I would have thought Leica would have corrected the issue.
lct Posted January 31, 2021 Share #4 Â Posted January 31, 2021 For each user profile you want copyright data to be saved, User Profile > Manage Profiles > Save as Profile : enter the Profile name or click on it if it has a name already. Better export the profiles when it's done, this way it will be saved on your memory card ("settings.lcs" file).

I did not do it through the manage profile menu.
