I would read the manual which explains how to create profiles, which are your personal settings for different shooting needs - landscape vs street, or wide angle vs telephoto - and then save each profile for use whenever you want it. There have been endless threads on this, but the manual is the best place to start.

I did. The manual is silent on it. I would also expect that this setting would be constant across all user profiles. I also saw one other post about the subject. It said the CL could not save this data. As there had been several firmware upgrades since the original thread, I would have thought Leica would have corrected the issue.

For each user profile you want copyright data to be saved, User Profile > Manage Profiles > Save as Profile : enter the Profile name or click on it if it has a name already. Better export the profiles when it's done, this way it will be saved on your memory card ("settings.lcs" file).

Thank you. I did not do it through the manage profile menu.
