Here today it seems! This is great as it will allow you to see the corrected image at the time of shoot, instead of getting home, applying the correction then realizing you should have taken a couple of steps back!

I updated my M10-R. Perspective control is the obvious difference on the M10-R and M10s with a level gauge.

As far as I know and read about the perspective control, it is not available for the antique M10. I'll try the new FW this weekend. Let's see and have a tea.

Yea, only M10s that have a level gauge, so that might just be the P, R and maybe monochrome? I'm not sure if there is anything else different, maybe just bug fixes, new lens support (50 f/1.2?) maybe

yes, very likely.

May be, but you cannot see the difference in the menu (so you have to buy the lens to find out...).

The profile for the original 50 f/1.2 11820 has always been there and still is. The new version should have a 6-bit-code and therefore have no special profile like all other lenses which only come coded.

I compared the menues of the new firmware with the former one: no differences.

Last update of the M10 was sept 2019.

My sense is that this new firmware is just to support the 50/1.2

I doubt very much that Leica has any new or improved functionality for the M10 series

A nice firmware would be nice. I would vote for faster response after turning on the camera, and better user profiles management.

What about chance to see total actuations? Just dreaming.

I should have checked before blabbing away.

There seems to be a new perspective control feature. An odd addition for a camera that's not really poplar for professional architectural photography. - the widest prime lens is a 21.

and the 16-21 tri elmar is pretty dated now

perspective ‘keystone’ correction is valid with any lens on any subject, it just happens to be most obvious on architecture but I guess if you are retentive about such things you can use it more generally.
