wlaidlaw Posted December 15, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Am I correct in thinking that Leica have not carried forward the excellent feature introduced with the M240, to be able to choose framelines colour, to the various versions of the M10. I have had a search through the menus both on my M10-R and in the manual but can find no reference to frameline colours. If I am correct that Leica have not carried this forward, I think that is a pity. My eyesight finds the framelines in red, are much easier to see. a.noctilux Posted December 15, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 15, 2020 Hello Wilson, I confirm the choice of red or white framelines from M240 is white only on M10.

Thanks for confirming that it was not my being incompetent Arnaud. What a pity! I often wonder if Leica should poll their regular buyers before deleting features on a new model or firmware. As another example, I found that the ability of wifi enabled cameras to connect with an IP address to a computer browser, was a very useful feature, which Leica in their wisdom decided was unnecessary and deleted it with an FW update. Even Leica UK was a bit taken aback when they deleted this, especially as they had left the menu item present but just blocked its function. As a result if I now want a quick image to post on for example a forum, I have to load the image via Fotos on an iPad and then use Airdrop to transfer it to a laptop. Harvard Kiwi Posted May 15, 2021 Share #4 Posted May 15, 2021 I too wish we had the choice. It's silly, but that was a big thing pulling me toward the M240. Having said that, I hadn't really thought about it since I bought my M10.
