Have you other more common digital Leica or film Leica ?

Typ 262. I can't help with the rest, as the question does not show the problem. @OP, please be more specific in the description.

Thanks Jaap.

As the OP wrote M-D (typ 262), I asked if the OP had used other more common digital Leica with LCD or other analog Leica M.

I don't know the OP's level of mastering of Leica M so I asked.

Beside precise "problem" description of course.

M-D is special(ist) digital without LCD and some hiden functions (allowed reaching with the "function" button) as setting clock, cleaning sensor, batterie %, etc.

I use an M10-D which also has no screen and would like to try and help, but I don’t understand your question. Can you be more specific about what it is you’re trying to do, or what it is that you’re struggling with? Is this your first Leica M rangefinder?, or are you moving from another variant and wondering how it works without a screen. This will help gauge the level of help you might need.

1)  Have you read the user manual for this camera?  Here is the link: https://us.leica-camera.com/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=93710&subcategory=131376&type=93705&language=93871

2)  Having read the manual can you give the forum a clearer idea of just what the problem is that you are dealing with?

You will find there is a great depth of knowledge on this forum.  If you can tell the forum what the problem is I can guarantee you will be given a solution.  But you have to do your part and tell the forum what is wrong.  Thanks!

I, along with a good number of others here, have the M-D Typ-262 and we would be more than happy to help but, obviously, we need the OP to explain exactly what it is they need to find out. The OP's camera is a remarkably simple model in terms of operational procedures - it's far more basic than even the M10-D - but there are a few foibles which do really need to be understood.

If the OP can please give us some information the help required would be offered both willingly and speedily. Unfortunately "lighting problem" isn't much to go on.

Philip.
