Have you thought about approaching a gallery about hanging a show for this series?

I would very much like to organize such a show. Thanks for mentioning and I take it as a very good compliment indeed. I am confident these images will be well liked, all though many people “don’t know they like them yet 😀”. The response at the print lab, one of the best here, was that the printer said “they were fantastic”. A nice compliment from a person who looks at images all day, all year round.

I can’t wait to see what the SL3 files will look like printed large. We will continue the work and capture some best work. My friend is also Leicaphile and Train art photographer and for a couple of old blokes, the early pre dawn starts can take a toll. Anyway, it’s my hope we can arrange a showing, it’s something I think about a lot. There are a few more locations including rural crossings and freeway train scenes yet to cover.

The 20x24 inch prints done last week are absolutely stunning and can go much bigger. Such explosions of colour will have a great impact when printed large and framed on a wall.
best

Pedestrian Crossing - Unfortunately the amazing red in the image runs out of gamut for this jpg image thus losing some of its amazing intensity. The original red is even too big for Adobe RGB gamut. Nothing is clipped in the image however when converting the colour space, there is a loss.

Today was the 50th Anniversary of the end of fascist dictatorship rule in Portugal. Here in Braga, there were musicians and dancers out celebrating, and I grabbed this shot of an accordion player with my SL2-S and 50mm Dual-Range Summicron.
