Advertisement (gone after registration)

One of my boozing mates making a sarcastic comment to another of my boozing mates.  

Summicron-M 50mm (v5): f2, 1/250; iso 5,000 (hence the noise at the top - no problem to me to be fair). No editing except for a slight crop. Very little light in the pub except for a couple of high skylights and wall lighting. I love this old school lens.

A wonderful catch 😀 But check your colour balance, the Rhinos look a bit purple my end.

 I went out today with my SL2-S and a 41-year-old adapted 70-210mm lens. I am very happy with the outcome, considering what I assumed would be not worthy of keeping.  It just goes to show you the capability of the SL2-S, particularly its IBIS and sensor.

it’s was done with the 24-70 Sigma Zoom. 
Focal length 70mm

with godox ad 600 as Light source 

and a deep umbrella

Very nice image.  I've been considering a Lumix 20-60 as a sort of backup/alternative to my SL 24-90.  They're so inexpensive, about $250 pre-owned, you really can't go wrong.
