My first b/w conversion with this camera. As I had a monochrom, the 2s was for color only. I must admit, I do like the process converting from a color file.

with the 21apo, in a neglected house…

I must admit that using both my M9M and conversion from the SL2S that I have a strong preference for the subtle tonality of the Monochrom. Maybe it is me, but I find the results from the SL 2 S a bit harsh and somehow forced in comparison.

A baby elephant wakes up from a nap. These desert adapted elephants are considerably smaller, thiner, and have short tusks. They survive on very little water. Namibia just culled numerous elephants after a nearly two years of severe drought. Fortunately on the last week of our trip the rains began. Perhaps a few days late for some of her relatives.

This oryx was standing at the edge of Etosha's pan in the north of Namibia. He weights around 200 kilos. The leopard in a previous photo brought down a similar oryx. The leopard weighs a solid 80 kilos. All in a days work. Leica SL2S/100-400 @ 164mm

That’s most probably due to my lack of pp skills, as processing a color image gives you so many options to start with ( color filters) where as a monochrom only leave you the tones…

I rarely roll out of bed this early in the winter, but I had to get to the French bakery around the corner before they sold the day's allotment of cinnamon rolls. Walking back, I noticed the sky had taken on an orange tint, and ended up shooting the sunrise over Portage Bay for about 20 minutes. The rowing crews in the foreground had their backs to it most of the time, and also had their coach screaming at them.
