How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 18/05/2025 starting off from the Hight street in Guilford and winding it's way through the Surrey hills for a a stop at Losely House and then on too the Hogs Back Brewery

Thank you kindly. I like the storytelling aspect of making youtube slideshows though many don't seem to have the patience to watch them!! It was a good day and I'm glad that in the end I left my Sony's at home and just worked with the Q2 Monochrom. There is really something special about this camera and the files it creates. Do leave a like on Youtube if you feel so inclined

Since it does not all fit on my screen, I had to scroll, and I kind of like the lower portions without so much of the sky.  Making it a landscape with the upper boundary about where the dark curved branch on the right is.  Simpler composition and made me feel like I was standing in the forest. Just a thought.

Thanks - i like this as is. However, I took a horizontal version of the exact same scene and like that too, in a different way. I will post it later after I do some adjustments.
