Some mornings you suddenly see something that you have walked past many times. The morning fog and clouds made the light just right and I just happened to look to see this shot.

Things keep changing with summer ending. The morning light just hit these trees in a special way and the morning fog was still on the mountains.

I'm new to Leica... After much GAS, I recently bought a used Q2M, which has become my favorite camera. Here's one of my first images taken at my local pub.

Q2M, the wildlife camera.  I'd gone out to photograph cloudscapes, complete with red filter.  On the way back to the house I spotted the hare.  Some other sound startled it and it ran towards me, getting to about 15-20 feet away.  It's a youngster but full grown.

Cheeky too.  It put its tongue at me in this last pic.

Charismatic cat picture, 50 crop f/1.7 1/250.

The 24" wide print looked fine.

This is from a rental that arrived today.  Pulling the trigger on a purchase tomorrow.  Such a fun camera!

I'm been digging the Q2M. I think it's an amazing camera for making monochrome images. I've been taking the camera into different settings and trying different kinds of subjects. I've posted a classic bar scene that tells a clear story. Leica's are made for this kind of photography. I've also shot landscapes with it and it excels to a large degree there as well. Tonight I took it in to a cemetery for an evening walk...
