The Great Stone of Fourstones and the Yorkshire Dales' "Three Peaks".  From the left, Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent.  Two shots, stitched.

Wow - getting all three peaks in one shot is impressive. It took me all day to walk over them - and by the end I was completely done for!

It would have been an easier shot but for the sheep fence hard against my back, or indeed if I'd placed the Stone at the left hand edge, as I did for a colour shot.  I just liked it this way round.  Your Three Peaks walk is a decent enough hike.  24 miles plus ups and downs.  I'm not surprised you were weary at the end.

Today we had to send our oldest, Killian, AKA The Old Man to the other side.  Now he is at peace.  He was the best.

Ever since I got my new used Q2M, I take it on my morning exercise walk. I live in a rural area and walk through mostly National Forest each morning. Having the camera with me makes me more aware of things I observe and having the Q2M in hand also makes me more aware of things that I normally would not have photographed. I am exploring the world of Black and White. Enjoy.

Just loved the texture of this old rotting tree trunk when the morning light hit it this morning.

My other b&w rig.  It is also an amazing camera.  I am fortunate enough to have both.  I love them both for different reasons.

Morning mist and clouds created just a mysterious image at the pond I walk down to each morning.  I finally settled on this look after trying various other looks.  More detail took away from the feeling when looking at this.
