stuny Posted August 20, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2007 Graham - You shot this immediately after the towing photo? Superb, and your very low angle combined with the flat land and dominant sky are excellent. Terrific detail, depth, contrast and tonal range.
elansprint72 Posted August 20, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2007 Great shot without the aircraft; they make it even better.
Geebee Posted August 21, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 21, 2007 Graham - You shot this immediately after the towing photo? Not immediately after. There were five of those aircraft towing the gliders up so I had plenty of opportunity with one going up every five minutes or so. Once the necessary altitude is reached they fan out so I had to wait about fifteen minutes for one to make the turn that would place it where I wanted it in the frame. I know it's greedy but I wanted it closer :-) --Graham
samwells Posted August 21, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 21, 2007 Graham - Wonderful shot; I like the way the buildings are hunkering down in the landscape whilst the planes soar overhead. cheers: Sam

Guest lykoudos Posted August 21, 2007 Share #8 Posted August 21, 2007 Hello Graham, Mad admission in wonderful nature, clearance in the cloud sea. The pictorial airplanes in the sky shift me into the last century. Greeting Wolfgang
