I have to ask it here. I was shooting on a M10-R in my original introduction to digital M cameras. Without going into detail my M10-R was stolen and I went ahead with a fantastic price on the M11 I had been offered. My question is now having shot with both cameras, does anyone else see a specific difference between the color rendering regarding the two? I loved the look of color photos with the M10-R but it seems I can't get the same look with my M11. As decent as the files look they seemingly lack something I had no issue capturing on my previous generation?

It looks as if the colors are the same.

M11 appears to have a slight magenta cast in the wall, whereas the 10R has more of a yellowish cast (which I’ve noticed on my own 10R)

But I wouldn’t personally say that this makes them completely different, certainly more alike than a part.

FWIW making ones new Leica render more like ones old Leica often involves WB tweaks…

I am looking at this on my iPad!

Great photo!

Thank you very much Aleš,

It was slightly harder to take than it looks… the place was quite busy and the guy looked at me, then he wasn’t looking but someone had walked into the frame, then it was clear but he wasn’t looking where I wanted, then his pose was ok, but someone had walked into the frame… and so forth until eventually 📸
