35 Ultron asph

A very characteristic demonstration of this lens’s OOF. And colors too actually, a bit more saturated than the Summicron 35 iv

Sometimes, a bit. It has a unique way of separating subjects from context, or from eachother and of translating colors in greytones. I mainly shoot my B&W now with an M7 with the Scala film from Adox, which has a unique charater too, and it is more an adventure. The M9M came always out well, surprises were only positive, with very quick postprocessing compared to B&W conversions with a color M

I miss my M9M so much that I just repurchased it. Today is the arrival day. 🙂

Congrats! I hope it’s all right, I wouldn’t dare that much yet, at least not from eBay.

I don't do eBay because I can't stand their policies or their fees. I bought from a private seller who has a good history and is trusted.

Here's another shot of the canoe that should help more with identifying it. (See below post for ID)

Looks possibly like a Sawyer or a White vac-bagged carbon kevlar marathon boat. Nice.

I just got an email from the guy after sending him a link to the photos I shot. The canoe is a 1995 Wenonah J200 solo racing canoe and the paddle is a Zaveral (ZRE) Power Surge carbon fiber. It's a fast boat and the guy was really moving!

I don’t know you personally but I can only imagine how tough that is for you. Beautiful picture and I truly hope things get better for you.

I can't imagine a more beautiful place to end up. It's a lovely tribute.

Meanwhile, back in Wisconsin, one of my neighbors was out walking her retriever a while ago while the snow was coming down hard.

As she got to the corner, another woman came along with her two dogs who were so eager to say hello to the old retriever that they literally dragged her across the wet grass (you can see skid marks).

Excellent picture, when I saw it the first thing that came to mind was...a modern day Atlas holding down the world.
