Advice needed . . . I know you should turn off IBIS when using the SL on a tripod, but does the same apply with OIS on the Q2?

I have just bought a Gitzo Monopod, which is an ideal travelling support for the Q2.  Is there a slow shutter speed point at which it is better to turn OIS off when using on a Monopod?

I always understood that tripods were one thing monopods another on the basis that there is still the chance of some slight movement with a monopod which OiS can respond to. I have also read and I cannot vouch for its veracity that modern OiS recognises when on a tripod and doesn’t cause an issue unlike early OiS. Others no doubt will know better than me.

What I would do is experiment.  Turn off IBIS and see what kind of imagery you get.   Next, turn on IBIS and then compare.   I own a monopod and a tripod with fluid head.  The mono pod I have is no longer made, unfortunately.  I just love it.  Here is a description of it:  https://www.shutterbug.com/content/monostat-carbon-fiber-monopod#:~:text=Monostat monopods%2C the RS16K Carbon has the unique,Toe Stabilizer" even permits photographers to make rock-steady

I carry it with me all the time - in the car, hiking, walking about town, etc.  Awesome combo with the Q.

Put it in auto. OIS can produced unsharp image in Q2 at moderate shutter speed like 1/125 or 1/250 and higher.
It works great at 1/30th or 1/15th. Not so much below.
For living subject you can use 1/250th or 1/125th at the minimum shutter speed. To avoid any motion blur.

Please keep in mind that Q2 has 47MP and need to provide sharp image at 75mm crop.
