Dolphin_Yokohama Posted October 21, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 21, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I experienced severe ghosting during sunset shooting with CL body+APO-VARIO-ELMARIT-SL 90-280mm f/2.8-4 without filter. Have anyone experienced same imaging? Is this due to mirrorless camera specification, but not due to lens? Welcome, dear visitor! Boojay Posted October 21, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) Sensor array and been reported and seen many times, especially in CL forum, many different lenses so that does not impact. Dr. G Posted October 21, 2020 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2020 I have seen this on a few cameras - it's very pronounced on my a7r iv with the Sigma 14-24 when shooting into the sun. It's definitely sensor flare and, as far as I know, there's not much that can be some about it in certain situations.

Eclectic Man Posted October 23, 2020 Share #7 Posted October 23, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does the focal length setting make any difference? Or the position of the sun in the frame? Lovely shot, by the way. The flare is so regular it definitely looks like a sensor issue.
