Amazon. Haoge Thumb Up. Very good quality, all metal with rubber gasket to align between camera body and the grip. Sits tight and well in the hotshoe but can be also removed without issues. So far very happy with it.

Thank you for that.   I just received a black version for my M 262.   Feels very nice.  Only question is do I store the normal hot shoe protector in the box/bag the thumb up came in or elsewhere :-)

Haha, I asked myself the same - for now I used the same bag and box for the original one which came with the camera! Other option I thought of is to put it with bag inside the Leia box drawer with accessories of the original camera box.

When I got my secondhand 240 it didn't have the hotshoe cover, the store owner said two things

1. Yes people take them off to put thumbgrips on, then they don't store them with the camera so they go missing

and

2. A new hotshoe cover? That'll be €34 please.

Please folks store your original Leica accessories all in one place! :D
