Advertisement Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hi carylwithay, Take a look here lake at Palace of Fine Arts. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
abrewer Posted August 20, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2007 Nice Caryl. Is this San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts you're referring to? BTW, question about the M8; are you using an IR filter for your shots? Thanks. Allan
carylwithay Posted August 20, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 20, 2007 Yes, Allan, it is the Palace of Fine Arts in SF. I have the filter that Leica sent me but do not know when I put it on. I do use it and have for a while. Is there a difference you can see? I cannot but, then again, color to me does not have to match anything in particular as long as i like the color. I have been known to paint green people and purple hair if the colors are harmonious. Caryl
stuny Posted August 20, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2007 Caryl - Lovely scene that insistently, but quietly says "peaceful". Your comment of green people and purple hair makes me think of a Sony or Kodak video camera advert of the late 1980s, in which you hear the narator shooting the amateur video describing the real colors.
