hirohhhh Posted October 5, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I have two Lexar UHS-II V90 128GB SD cards and I didn't have any problems with them on S1H, but since I switched to SL2, I put these cards in the camera and when I'm recording a video 4k 30fps 10bit 422, it won't allow me to record more than 10 seconds and it says SD card too slow. I also noticed reviewing photos is a way slower than on my original SL. What cards do you suggest that works great with SL2 and video recording. I tried to find SanDisk, V90, at least 128GB, but I don't see any on B&H or Amazon. Any recommendations? Edited October 5, 2020 by hirohhhh

nico4444 Posted October 5, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2020 Have you tried formatting the cards through your SL 2? From SanDisk's website, I do not see any card with V90.
hirohhhh Posted October 5, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted October 5, 2020 Yes, I formated them with SL2 many times.
MediaFotografie Posted October 6, 2020 Share #4 Posted October 6, 2020 I used V90 cards from Prograde, they are very fast - as they should. This behaviour looks a little bit strange, Lexar's V90 cards should be very fast too

Significantly slower than my previous SL, but I thought it might be due to larger resolution. Then people told me that Lexar cards are generally bad and I didn't pay much attention as I can get new cards anytime. However, few days ago I tried to record a video and I couldn't record more than around 10 seconds because the card is too slow, as per the error message I get. Now, if it's the card, I'd happily replace it, but if it's not the card, then it's the camera. I just wanted to check first if someone else had the same problem and what are your experiences with these Lexar cards and SL2.
