Lens Cap Part Number Needed

I lost the lens cap for my Leica Elmarit-M 1:2,8/28 ASPH and cannot find the part number for it.  My lens has the sun shade so the lens cap is rectangular.  I ordered and received part "14 040 but it's too large.  Help!

If it’s the cap that fits over the ring it’s 14474. I’ll check.

Sorry to let you know that the 14043 cap had been discontinued for some time now,

Number of users had lost these caps (comprise myself), it's very scarse,

maybe 3D print can be long term solution ?

Is this for the latest version of this lens #11677?  I just bought the lens a couple of weeks ago and the part number for the hood cap is 14212.  It's still available.

That part number appears to fit the 16-21 f4 Tri-Elmar, the 24 f3.8 Elmar, the Summilux 35 f1.4 ASPH & the Elmar 21 f3.4 ASPH.

I'm sorry, too!  I was afraid of this since I didn't see it at B&H, Adorama, etc.  Apparently, though, Popflash has had some made so, if anyone is looking for a replacement, here's the link:  https://www.popflash.com/LC-SR-02  Thank you all for helping me.  I really appreciate it!!!

That part number is on the back of the hood cap that came with my brand new 28mm Elmarit f2.8 ASPH.

If it's cap 14043 you're looking for, you can actually find replacement caps on Ebay that are cheaper than Match technical. Just search for "Leica cap" or "Leica 14043". I lost my hood cap last summer, they are definitely easy to loose.
