SoCalLeicanator Posted September 10, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry to do two questions in one day. What is the highest quality service to use for printing pics? Also, what is the best way to go about preserving quality? I typically do light editing in LR and then save the largest JPEG I can. I am a total novice with the digital world so all help appreciated.
Advertisement Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Hi SoCalLeicanator, Take a look here Best web printing service. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Einst_Stein Posted September 10, 2020 Share #2 Posted September 10, 2020 Depends on the desired quality and cost, I sent to Adorama (NY) or Bay Photo (SF). Adorama is an excellent cost effective solution, Bay Photo is for high priced work. Go to their web site, you can find a lot of information.

LeicaS2 Posted September 11, 2020 Share #4 Posted September 11, 2020 I use DaleLabs.com in Hollywood Florida for precise large prints as well as film scanning. Leica like quality. Hey, it’s who Leica Store Miami uses. Shipping is very very protective of images yet economical and fast. They are the only people I have used for large prints that wrap the print around the outside of a tube which is then inserted into a box. I get turnaround service in under a week. Leica28 Posted October 16, 2020 Share #8 Posted October 16, 2020 As LeicaS2 mentioned, Dale Labs is a great resource. I used them extensively during the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. They are still going strong, thankfully. The double weight archival paper they use speaks high quality.
