epand56 Posted August 31, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted August 31, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) My son bought a Canon Eos 800D Mirrorless Camera. The default lens for this camera is a 15-55 (I think) piece of plastic capable of not really surprising pictures. I would like to mount my M lenses on this camera. Can anybody suggest me a good, not too much expensive, adapter for this purpose? Thank you very much for any help or hint. Enrico
Advertisement Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Hi epand56, Take a look here M Lenses to Canon Eos 800D Body Adapter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jankap Posted August 31, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted August 31, 2020 EOS mount -> no possibility to mount M-lenses. The 800D is not mirrorless, I think.
cp995 Posted August 31, 2020 Share #3 Â Posted August 31, 2020 Canon EF (S) has a flange distance of 44mm and Leica M has 27,8mm Even if there is an adapter available you won't be able to focus to inifinity. Macro only.
jaapv Posted August 31, 2020 Share #4 Â Posted August 31, 2020 it is quite possible - one only needs a slight modification to the camera: https://www.canonwatch.com/photographer-hacks-an-eos-5d-mark-ii-to-mount-leica-lenses/
