Dr. G Posted August 14, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted August 14, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I know there are ways to normalize colors to a standard, but is there a way to create a color profile for the SL2 to match the colors from the SL? Advertisement Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Hi Dr. G, Take a look here Color Matching SL2 to SL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
caissa Posted August 14, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted August 14, 2020 When you use raws then there are endless possibilities to influence the colors. So they are usually never the same. (There is actually no standard way.) But if you use jpgs then the results from both cameras are similar. Usually the jpgs are quite good from the SL and SL2. I often use them and avoid the additional work with raws.
trickness Posted August 14, 2020 Share #3  Posted August 14, 2020 I find the color to be perhaps less saturated/colder in the SL2, but more accurate than the SL - this somewhat depends on the lens being used and on the light where you’re shooting. You can create custom import settings in Lightroom, and shoot in raw if you want real image editing flexibility.
