I must be the most unluckiest Leica owner. Having had a defective Noctilux and multiple cracked lens hoods, today my 8 month old SL2 stopped working and will not power up at all. It is now on its way back to Germany at a time when I most need the camera.

These failures suggest that there are serious quality control and quality assurance  processes in place at Leica. Given the price of these products, such failures simply should not occur.

Has anybody else experienced a similar SL2 failure or had an equally bad experience with Leica products ?
