It seems to me that there are 2 potential issues: 1. Is there any nastiness on the rear of the mount that could interfere with the inside of the camera (as with the DR 'Cron). 2. Will the goggles fit? Also, there seem to be 2 versions of the SOOKY, one that folds up. Is either a better prospect than the other? Yes I knew the goggles were attached - I was really wondering if they fit and work on the M10 SOMKY seems to be the name also - They're the same thing I think?? SOMKY is usable on every Leica M with rangefinder focus from 1:15 to 1:7.5 with Summicron's optical cell + UOORF or collapsible Summicron LTM or M. Silas Not so obscure ... personally, SOMKY + UOORF has been my preferred light/portable set for near distances, frome the times of M8 (when the DR became unfunctional... luckily, one can always use the head of the DR on the Somky+Uoorf... 😎 ) I admit that I have almost abandoned this fine set whenm 2 years aggo, bought a Macro Elmar M 90 with its goggled ring... usage/handling is similar, performances excellent, with a bit more of macro capability... It's good to hear that this will work. I managed to get a SOMKY+UOORF together from Red Dot in London. They should arrive tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!
