Henry Taylor Posted July 30, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 30, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) When I meet Howard a few weeks ago I was on my way to work . What I noticed about Howard , he was different. He wasn't the typical homeless type you see every day, Howard was clean shaving and had the appearance that there was more there then what I could see... I had to know . The second time I was with him I learned that he had been a Wall Street broker who lost everything, including his wife and family. This time I stopped by and dropped off a supply of food items my wife had on the shelf that she really didn't need after I told her about Howard. Will check back later with a further update on how Howard is doing.🙏 Welcome, dear visitor! Louis Posted July 30, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2020 (edited) Nice shots and an interesting man, indeed. I have seen lots of homeless people in Europe who have been educated people and very enriching to have conversations with them. One of them was in my neighborhood in Paris to whom I was often bringing a bottle of wine. He used to be a lawyer before and one day, he was fed up with everything. His stories were always very interesting. Edited July 30, 2020 by Louis
stuny Posted July 30, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 30, 2020 Well done and I'm proud of you for engaging and then helping him. I suspect he lost everything to alcohol, but I may be wrong.
Henry Taylor Posted July 30, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted July 30, 2020 Louis , yes its sad but who are we to judge how they end up. . Maybe as Stuarts suggested, alcohol played a part in it. For sure these individuals certainly have interesting stories to tell, I'm sure we could learn from them. Thanks for your comments.
