ns_ng Posted August 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) One of my first R8/DMR shots. The DMR still continues to amaze me even though it is nearly 2 years old. N.S.
Advertisement Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Hi ns_ng, Take a look here Singapore - One of my first DMR shots. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 15, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 15, 2007 N.S. - A gorgeous shot with lovely light, color, detail and depth. And I'm in complete agreement with you about the DMR. Unfortunately, mine is touring Solms without me but I hope to have it back in about three weeks.

Fortunately, it was still working. But it took Solms almost 2 months to replace this dial. Since then it has been working fine. But the local agent was kind enough to offer me a loaner. Someone mentioned the combination of the DMR and Leica lenses reminded him of Kodachrome. He called it 'Leica-chrome.' Thanks for viewing. N.S. spylaw4 Posted August 16, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 16, 2007 Lovely colours NS and an interesting view point. The 'Starship Enterprise' threw me at first - it does look a bit out of place - but I understand that it is Lord Foster's 2nd (and somewhat controversial) Singapore building - the new Supreme Court. The first was the Expo MRT station. I must go take look at both when I'm there at New Year.
mgcd Posted August 16, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 16, 2007 Beautiful light indeed! Yes, the DMR is very much like Kodachrome IMO. Cheers,
