I just bought a used Leica Q2. Where do I found the serial number?

On my Q it's in the middle of the bottom plate, next to the tripod socket, perpendicular to the body

Q2 it's on the bottom plate adjacent to the SD card slot, perpendicular to the body.

You can also see it in the Foto's app when you connect the camera. Under the list of camera's you can connect to you should see "LEICA Q2" and the serial number is written below that.

There are several sets if digits at the bottom of my camera and none are accepted when I attempt to register it. What does the serial number look like?

It’s the only “serial number” looking number on the bottom. If you look at current Leica lenses and bodies, you can keep an idea of what current serial numbers are as they only go up a few thousand per year. Similarly, the serial number on your box, receipt and paperwork will indicate serial number.  If you are entering the proper number, and the proper camera description selected in the registration screen, it should register without issue. If you purchased it used, and it is currently registered to someone else, it won’t register.  You’ll have to get the current registered “owner” to unregister it.
