The exposures are surprisingly good almost rivaling those obtained with the M10. I own an M10 and a number of Canon cameras but none are mirrorless. I considered the SL2 but purchased the R as I could not justify the $4k price differential. The M lenses perform wonderfully and begs the question of why bother to purchase an SL2. The reasons to go with the SL2 over the EOS R are numerous, particularly when adapting M lenses. The primary ones being a sensor cover designed to work with wide angle M lenses, and a larger/higher resolution EVF to aid in manual focusing. I'd buy a mint used SL from a reputable dealer if I wanted to use M lenses with an EVF. At present they're going for $2000 - $2300. Check Leica Store Miami (no tax). Just curious. 1.6mm 50mm rangefinder lenses seem to work well enough, 35mm so-so, 28mm or wider lenses will have smearing and magenta corners.
