This was a Russian Jupiter 8 on my Leica M8. Not too shabby.

I notice that the yellow lines in the stack have gone very curly so that's some seriously complex distortion.

Good luck sorting that out in PS.

Ha, that's the way it was in real life, but alas my version of Photoshop is pretty old. My next OS upgrade it will stop working, along with Aperture. Not sure what I will switch to. Don't want to pay $300 a year to Adobe.

I bought my first Holga and was disappointed because the images were too good. Only later did I realise I should have bought the plastic lens version and not the glass lens. And isn't this the problem with truly cheap lenses, unless they are awful or characterful, or pinhole, there are no bragging rights that the lens is cheap but not quite good enough to show pictures from without making endless excuses for it. If it's a characterful lens or pinhole or awful it should be apparent in the image, semi good/bad is a failure.

Another USSR lens for all of €55.00    - 1960s  35mm  f2.8  Jupiter-12 LTM  on the Monochrom1

A box of those  Romeo Y Julieta cigars cost more than the ‘lens’ 😎
