Advertisement Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Hi nariza7, Take a look here Leica Q2 converted to 21mm... with Ricoh GW-3 and GW-4 adapter RAW Samples. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Joshi_H Posted November 15, 2023 Share #22 Posted November 15, 2023 No, I don‘t know and I would not expect much.
nariza7 Posted November 30, 2023 Share #23 Posted November 30, 2023 As an update, the sony wide angle adapter SEL075UWC does not attach by filter thread, but by the specific bayonet front mount on the sony 28mm. Because of that, it cannot physically be attached to the Leica Q3. People have modded it for rx1 series since that has similar enough front mount, but does not work for other lenses otherwise
Dr. G Posted December 1, 2023 Share #24 Posted December 1, 2023 Any chance the softness on the Ricoh has to do with the distance it sits from the Q lens?

Yeah, so I just tested the GW-4 out with my Q3 in non-macro mode, and its also looks foggy like the examples shown. When I tried to move it farther back (not attached), it just looks foggier and foggier. Then I turned to macro mode with it attached, and the object in the center is super clear/sharp. Just that there is no infinity focus in macro mode for farther objects. I believe the GW-4 glass is either too far out, or the focus point is off, so it looks foggy. Was going to pick up some cheap macro front filters to test in between the Q3 and GW-4 just to see if I can get it to be sharp, but looking at the difference in field of view, it might not be worth the effort. If it works, it does widen the view, but not as much as I'd like. Edited December 14, 2023 by nariza7 change of idea
