My photo, below, entitled "What bird seed?" shot below a bird feeder got an honorable mention with this comment: f/2.8, 1/160, iso100 I love this shot by Stuart Nordheimer of this small ground squirrel. The framing of its little face is just superb! What a cool way to take an “ordinary” backyard critter and make something really special out of it (nothing against ground squirrels, sorry for calling you ordinary…). A shallow depth of field helps minimize distraction in the grasses, and that low ISO gives extraordinary sharpness and clarity. Nice work!! Welcome, dear visitor!
