I don't think I've seen such sharp rendition of details from my 35/2 asph...Love the lens!

Nearly all of us including myself used to complain about the sharpness, especially along corners, while using 28'cron ASPH v1. Eventually, having thought that the newer version was to be better in corners, I sold it... Nowadays, I have been comprehending that 28'cron reflects lovely blue hours in using right time.

The sharpness never bothered me. Low light yes it could be sharper though usually the corners rarely illuminated enough. It also render colors more towards modern smooth renderings. A great lens IMHO. Not sure if the new version render colors the same?
