I've been looking for a cheap option to protect my Q2. Yes, I know, it's an expensive camera, but it feels like a lot of camera case manufacturers are charging a lot more for their Leica cases than other brands, and I don't really want to spend 10% of the cost of the camera, to protect it..

I started out by looking for a green leather case as I miss my old M-P240 Safari and wanted to add that colour to my Q2 somehow. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can find which suits for say less than £100GBP here in the UK, so this got me searching for skins.

I've found a skin but it's black, and I wondered if there are any companies that are known for producing skins?

If you mean protective film to cover the metal, yes there are a few eBay sellers producing 3M diecut skin packs , I’ve seen a carbon fibre one and a clear one but I thought they would cheapen the camera looks ,   If you mean to replace the black leather, yes there are various eBay based sellers offering this too to give you a ‘Q2 a la Carte’ look

as they say, a chacun son gout. Personally I think those skins are cheesy to the max. If the outside of my Q2 gets scratched, fine with me, it's just an indicator that the camera is meant to the used.
