some XK140s for our moderator

I could not resist putting these up given the passion shown here for this grand marque

 

a trio of XK 140s

these XK 140s all lack the classic Jaguar leaper ...I do not know if this is true of all of these models or whether they were pinched ...I suspect it was not standard on these models

 

the new Jaguar S types echo the classic radiator, but lack the sweet curves of this model

now I know these are all the wrong colour ...I have a photograph of a lovely 1952 C type in BRG on my classic car gallery here classics Photo Gallery by Artichoke Vinagrette at pbase.com but I took this with a non Leica camera & seeing how our moderator may be checking in on this post, I thought it best to just post a link

I can't wait for the British Car Club's annual meet in September at Eagle Creek Park. They always have lots of Jags, MG's, Triumphs, even a Rover or two.

To be honest, I am not a car nut, but these old Jags do have something special about them. The cream one above is beautiful.
