adelie Posted April 29, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 29, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) During these challenging times I have sought out some of my photo images that nourish me with a sense of calm and bliss. This is one of them. I visited Antarctica several years ago and was fortunate to see this continent before the massive climate changes that have occurred over the past few years. A lot of people think visiting a place like this is a waste of time. However I beg to differ. The subtle interplay of sea and sky mixed with the pastel tones of ice and water make for an intoxicating cocktail of self reflection, humility, and peace. We are an interloper here. I hope you agree! Leica M4-P film camera - 21mm. Super Angulon f/11.0 on Velvia 50 colour slide film. Welcome, dear visitor! fotografr Posted April 30, 2020 Share #3 Posted April 30, 2020 Lovely image. I wouldn't ever consider visiting a place like that a waste of time, but I don't know that I could handle the brutal cold.

allamande Posted April 30, 2020 Share #5 Posted April 30, 2020 Beautiful image of a precious place! A lot of people actually think it is important to visit a place like this, and at a bare minimum, to take care of it. Ece
