analoguser Posted April 29, 2020 Share #1  Posted April 29, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration)  I have the rear lens portion of the TELYT 400 6.8 which appears to have some fungus contamination. Does anybody in the USA fix this problem? I have contacted Mr. Ye and Ms. Krauter who inform me that they don't do this type of work. I'm not inclined, and may not have the ability to do this myself.  Analoguser
Advertisement Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Hi analoguser, Take a look here Lens Cleaning. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
spydrxx Posted April 29, 2020 Share #2  Posted April 29, 2020 If it is the external surface of the rear lens, it may be an easy fix which you could attempt yourself. The head, containing the lens elements, unscrews from the focus mount in one piece. Simply very gently take a cotton ball, lightly moistened with hydrogen peroxide, and dab the surface, followed by one dabbed with distilled water. lightly dab it dry or follow with propyl alcohol and a dry one.
