David David I just checked this slide - October 1982. I scanned this slide today (April 23 2020) - Kodachrome is amazing - would love to see it return but not holding my breathe. Enjoying the new Ektachrome 100 slide film in both 35mm and 120 format on my Leicas and Mamiya 7II medium format cameras.
DwF Posted April 23, 2020 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2020 I miss, we all miss Kodachrome! My son who is just getting serious in photography and digital even loves it's look......he chases it with Digital. I can't begin to imagine the Mamiya slides! :)I look forward to more if you scan and post it. I need a better scanner to do justice to Kodachrome and even Provia slides. With our border closed, I miss my trips to your wonderful city! David

wizard Posted April 24, 2020 Share #7 Posted April 24, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great shot! I visited Vancouver just recently, in the first week of March 2020, shortly before everthing was locked down. That shot must have been taken from the North Van area, with the Lion's Gate Bridge somewhere to the right of your shot, correct?

The shot was taken in Stanley Park near the old yacht club house at sunset my friend.
