Is your lens all the way locked in place?

yep, it is. Maybe it was manufacturing issue? If so, I can probably get it repaired/replaced by Leica after this coronavirus craziness?

I have had this "issue" with both my 35 summilux and 28 summilux. The hood locks tight but it is not exactly horizontal (especially when compared to lines on the camera).

It's bothersome cause it should be centred. I got over it though, but just letting you know it's "normal" though I never noticed it on my 28 Summicron v2.

how do I attach an image to the text? It seems like when I try to attach an image it prompts me to download it first

Save it as a jpeg. Some websites and computers have difficulty with .HEIC images.

Maybe the filter ?

Or when you feel some resistance, at the end when screwing, you can screw a small bit more.

As I see here nothing to be worried about this so small tilt.

I'm sure you will not see it in the final image (of the hood border).
