Schittra Posted April 17, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Being quarantine can make us stress. I am doing many projects and now start about the self-portrait. I found out the face recognition of Leica SL works so well (after I always use manual focus with my M series during over past 10 years). Feel free to share the self-portrait tip-and-trick. Then, we can learn and have fun together
Advertisement Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Hi Schittra, Take a look here Please share tip for Self-Portrait. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fotografr Posted April 18, 2020 Share #2 Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) Photograph yourself in a mirror, then in Photoshop flip it horizontally. The trick will be to keep the camera out of the shot. Ill go ahead and start with my self-portrait. (Joke portrait removed. To be replaced later by a real one) Updated: This was done the easy way. Tripod, pre-focus, self timer. Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted April 18, 2020 Share #3 Posted April 18, 2020 I was on a train leaving a meeting in Washington to head north, home. Being December it was quite dark fairly early and I aimed my D2 towards my window. Though the camera shows, most don't notice it and think somebody shot it from outside. Had I thought of Brent's suggestion of flipping he image my wedding ring would have been on the correct hand. Welcome, dear visitor! dkmoore Posted April 19, 2020 Share #6 Posted April 19, 2020 Off topic a bit but I enjoy seeing what folks look like, especially because we communicate often on the forum. I often imagine what I think someone would look like based on forum interaction. Obviously not very accurate but fun nonetheless.
