Can sometimes be confused with a dark vers. Tawny Eagle or Steppe Eagle. The giveaway is the yellow gape which extends only as far in line as the middle of the eye, & shaggy appearance of the feathers which are both characteristic of a Wahlberg's Eagle. Eagles have so much variety...
