stuny Posted April 11, 2020 Share #2 Posted April 11, 2020 It's hard to say. the D2 released in the spring of 2004, so micro SD cards and newer, high capacity cards will not work. When I bought my D2 in 2004 I also bought several 512 MB San Disk cards - At the time they cost between USD 150 and 200. I hope the card you ordered was not one of high capacity. I think the highest capacity card I used on my D2 was 2 GB. What card do you have? - Please give as many details as possible. Assuming the issue is just the card, it's not a bad idea to have two or three cards that will work with the D2, plus a are battery.

stuny Posted April 11, 2020 Share #4 Posted April 11, 2020 I don't know how many people have had this experience, but I've had two Transcend cards fail.
jaapv Posted April 11, 2020 Share #5 Posted April 11, 2020 The Digilux 2 does not take Micro-SD cards and adapters are unreliable. It needs SD 2GB class 2 or 4 cards, AFAIK various class 2 and class 4 cards are still available. The blank image error is normally caused by improper formatting in another camera. Format in the camera you are going to use it in. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=sandisk+2+gb&i=computers&ref=nb_sb_noss

rjans Posted April 11, 2020 Share #9 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) You can also try the App SD Card Formatter. See https://www.sdcard.org/index.html and downloads. Note the camera only accepts normal SD cards unto 2 GB like shown by jaapv. It does not accept SDHC cards.
